Hi everyone welcome to the newest article of Fangirl Favorites! This time I’m going to be discussing the episode in season four of My Hero Academia. You know, the episode where Bakugo and Todoroki have to go and have extra lessons because they didn’t get their Hero Licenses. You guys know the one, where Gang Orca gives the four of them–Bakugou, Todoroki, and the two Shiketusu students the task of trying to “tame” the small class of little kids and their unruly quirks. That episode was highly entertaining and strangely heartfelt in my opinion.
At the begining of the episode we can clearly see that our gang of heros have their work cut out for them with these kids. The kids don’t want anything to do with them and they are hell bent on running amuck throughout the stadium.
After Todoroki’s and the others attempts to make nice with the students-Tokoroki trying to explain in great and boring detail who he is, Cami trying to make friends with the little girls only to be called a floosy in return, and our hurricane boy Inasa, oh boy don’t get me started with that poor sap. It ends up being Bakugou’s roundabout suggestion of showing their power, so to speak–he actually suggested fighting them, works!
The kids come at them head on and our group counter attacks with using their powers and making a miniature theme park! It’s really quite adorable how after the ice slides random explosions, wind rides and etc. entertains and calms the kids. Even a few words from Bakugou to the main little twerp turns the kid to the good side! Now that’s awesome!
The other thing that really stood out to me was the proclamation from Endeavor to his son that he will be not only a better hero, but be a better father to him. Sure, words can be just that, words. But you can truly see and practically feel the emotion behind it. And that’s what makes the final episode of season four so powerful.
Both of these points made this episode just fantastic! And I really hope they have some heartfelt and easy going episodes in season five considering what’s going on in the manga….
Well, that’s all for now! See you guys next time!
