Mama I’m In Love With A Fictional Character~Raihan x Reader Pt. 2

The Spikemuth village could be described as many things. Sadly, lush and green was not one of those things. With its run down and dilapidated stone hovels, to its beaten up road ways. It was definitely a rather “Unique” town to say the least.

But we did have decent enough dragon dens at least. But if you could catch just one rare dragon, just one, it would change the village for the better. Finally put Spikemuth on the map. All you had to do was to try and find one of those dragons again and get it to your guild and tame it. Then Spikemuth would finally get it’s renown back and get more funding from the Rose Dragon Association.

Sadly that wasn’t going to be an easy task. Especially with Mr. Cocky Dragon Stealer from Hammerlocke out there stealing your catches and then having the nerve to mock you.

Ugh. That stupid handsome idiot! The absolute nerve of him!

Wait…

Handsome?

You couldn’t possibly think that jerk was attractive in any possible way. Right? Impossible that was just simply impossible.

But speaking of that annoying little so and so maybe the former guild leader Piers will know a little more about him. And if you were lucky, you could get an edge on that dragon stealer. Unfortunately, he was thinking the same exact thing.

***

“His name is Raihan and he’s the leader of the Hammerlocke guild?”

“Her name is (Y/N) and she’s the leader of the Spikemuth guild?”

“Oh this is gonna be good. It’s about time I find someone worthy to be another rival.”

“Hah. He’s gonna regret messing with the Spikemuth guild.”

“It’s so on.”

Mama I’m In Love With A Fictional Character~ Taming The Dragon: Raihan x Reader Pt. 1

“Closer, closer. Just a few more steps.” You murmur out as you crouch further into your hiding spot within the foliage of the forest just outside of the green and lush clearing you were staking out. It wasn’t for the beautiful and serene scenery you were here for though. It was for the dragon that was lumbering around in it. You were so very close to capturing it.

Your village needed this dragon. Hell, your guild needed this dragon. You were the current leader of the Spikemuth Dragon Tamer Guild. The former leaders Piers and his younger sister just stepped down a month ago and it was left to you to keep the guild up and running. And if you didn’t get this dragon, your village’s defenses and your guild’s reputation would go down drastically. Even lower than the sorry state that they were already in. Seeing that Dragon Tamers in your village were already rare as it is. No one seemed to have the skill or the grit to train to be one anymore.

The dragon steps even closer and you step into position, your muscles tensing in anticipation ready to strike at the right moment. All you had to do was throw the destabilizer net and you were on your way to adding a new dragon to your village’s pack. Just as you were about to throw the net though, you suddenly heard a sharp whistle, and the next thing you know the dragon was on the ground fast asleep.

You chuckle. Sleep darts, nice. Well, this just made your job about tens times easier. Thank you, mystery person. You step out of your hiding spot and towards the dragon, reading your capture rod. It was a specialized mechanism for getting dragons. With a simple flick of a button, Laser-like whips are released and latch onto the dragon it’s pointed at and proceeds to shrink it down and store it in the canister for easy travel. Whoever made this device was a complete genius in your eyes.

Just as you were about to flick the switch though, the dragon up and vanishes in a puff of smoke right before your eyes. “What the hell? What just happened?”

In response, you hear a deep chuckle and see a figure in similar Dragon Tamer armor like your own standing amidst the tree branches just off to your left. Titanium plated pauldrons and boots. Leather breastplate with reinforced fire deterrent material. And a helmet that looked like a fossilized dragon head. The only difference was your colors were black and purple while this mystery man was sporting the colors of red and gold. Also known as the Hammerlocke Dragon Tamer guild’s colors. You were dealing with a rival Dragon Tamer. How lovely.

“Hey, give that dragon back! I’ve been tracking it for hours! It’s mine!”

The Hammerlocke Dragon Tamer glances down at you, most of his face obscured much like yours by the helmet. But you could tell that he was tan, a couple inches taller than you, and obviously a cocky ass. “Sorry sweetheart, you’ve gotta be quicker than that.” He then snickers and bounds away.

You click your tongue and shake your head. “Gotta be quicker than that eh? We’ll see about that. I’ll get you back for that. I don’t give in that easy.”

Mama I’m In Love With A Fictional Character: Envy x Reader~I’ll Stand By You Pt. 2

You stood in front of your front door as your shifted the grocery bags onto your left arm so you could find you keys. Usually, you’d get takeout or bribe Edward into getting the groceries for you if he were nearby. He usually made a huge stink about doing it, but it certainly gave Envy a laugh.

A smile stretches across your features as you think of the Homunculus. It’s been at least a full year since everything went down. For punishment, the government—thanks to Edward and surprisingly Roy, gave Envy the punishment of being under house arrest for a whole year instead of having to spend time in jail. And even more lucky for you, it happened to be your house that he was cooped up in.

At first it wasn’t easy dealing with him twenty-four-seven. You quickly came to realize that he was a complete drama queen with a penchant for using his shape shifting abilities to prank you. But he could be really charming and sweet when he wanted to be.

And that’s exactly why you went out to get groceries. Today was a very special day. It was the day that Envy’s house arrest finally ended so you wanted to surprise him with a homemade dinner and make him his favorite dessert—a strawberry sundae, to celebrate with him.

You finally got a hold of your keys and swung the door open. “Envy! I’m back!” You call out into a seemingly empty house. No response came back. You walk towards the kitchen and put the groceries down onto the counter. “I wonder where that palm-treed-lizard is? He could be sleeping; God knows he sleeps like a rock. But I hope that he isn’t trying to pull another prank on me.” You mutter.

As you start pulling the groceries out and start getting dinner ready, you feel long, lithe arms wrap around your waist pulling you into a strong chest. “Now, why oh why would I pull a prank on my sweet, little (y/n)?”

A chuckle passes your lips as you turn around in his grasp looking up at the gleaming, purple irises you’ve come to love. Yep, love. Although neither of you have said those three words—you were too nervous and could never spit it out when you wanted to, and you were pretty sure Envy wasn’t entirely sure how to say it either, it was clear that the both of you cared for each other deeply.

“Considering you are the one who shapeshifted into a cat of all things one time just because I wasn’t giving you enough attention and I’m a sucker for cats…I would say it’s entirely likely you would.”

He lets out a chuckle and puts his chin on top of your head. “Fair enough, I guess. So, why the groceries? Doesn’t Pipsqueak usually get us these?”

You giggle at his nickname for Edward. Oh, if he only heard him. “Well mister. These are for a special surprise I have for a certain homunculus tonight.”

A cocky smirk graces Envy’s lips and he cocks his head slightly. “Oh, a surprise for me? What ever have I done to warrant something like this?” He asks coyly.

Shaking your head, you kick his home arrest anklet. “It’s because in a couple of hours, thing comes off and you can finally step outside again! So, until then, shoo! I need you out of sight while I put together your surprise.” You say as you lightly shove him and wiggle out of his grasp.

Envy just shakes his head at you. “And if I don’t wanna?” He challenges.

You give him a smirk that rivals his own. The kind that he always loved seeing from you. Not many—or really not any humans could challenge him and stick to their ground as well as you. That’s one of the many reasons why he loved you.

Wait what?

Love? He loved you?

A look of realization mixed with confusion briefly flits across Envy’s face but before you could ask him about it he quickly replaces it with a smirk again. With a raise of his hands, he backs up a bit. “Fine, fine. You win. I’ll go into our room for a while and let you make this surprise or whatever.” Then he turned around and started up the stairs. As he did though, you could have sworn you heard him mutter something like “And figure out what this love feeling is while I’m at it.” You chose to pay it no mind for now though and started back on your work.

As you moved swiftly through each task your mind begins to wander. A habit of yours that tends to happen quite often. So often that it’s one of Envy’s favorite things to pick on. Ironically enough, it is that palm-treed-lizard that is occupying your thoughts. To think that it has only been a year and so many things have happened, so many memories. But, in just a few hours when Envy finally gets that anklet off and receives his freedom, would he leave you in the dust?

You shook your head. No, you shouldn’t think such thoughts he would never do that to you. The bond the both of you share is too strong. But still, the thought still lingers. Next thing you know you have everything prepared and plated. Which causes you to stop for a moment. ‘Geez, I must have been really deep in thought to go into auto pilot like this.’ You think.

“Envy, you can come down now! Everything is ready!” you call out to him. Looking over the table and the surrounding area you can’t help but smile. It was all of his favorite dishes, there was a vase of flowers he told you once that he didn’t hate, there were so many things in this small little area that reminded you of your time with him this year. You hoped he would find it just as special.

You hear the pad of his footsteps on the stairs and a small smirk graces your features as you hear a small gasp that escaped Envy’s lips even though he tried to hide it. “My, is the great Envy blushing?” you tease as you lean against a corner of the table you decorated with colors of green and (f/c).

Envy splutters slightly and then a look of conflict flickers across his face, but he quickly dispels it and closes the distance between the two of you quicker than you can say “The Truth”. “Me? Blushing? Ha, as if someone as perfect as me could—ok fine, you irritating human, quit giving me that look. I was blushing alright? You surprised me with all of this. A year ago, if you would have told me that I would be spending basically twenty-four-seven with a human and, heh, falling in love with them and not wanting to actually kill them I would have told you were nuts.”

You would have had a retort at his little remark but, you couldn’t get past the fact he actually said the words love you. You blink up at him and nearly falter in his grasp. “Envy, did you just say—”

He grins a cat-like grin and kisses you with a passion you never felt from him. Once you part, flushed and breathless you can only smile up at him. “Can I take that as a yes?”

Envy gives a chuckle and kisses the top of your head. “What do you think? Now, are we going to enjoy this little surprise you made or not?”

Giving a light chuckle you, both sit down and dig in. Through all of it you couldn’t keep your eyes off of Envy your fears dispelled. He loved you and you loved him. You two were meant to stand by each other since you met. Since the day you yelled at him to continue his life and live it with you. You and him, a homunculus and a human.

Mama I’m In Love With A Fictional Character. Dabi x Reader~One More Night

Dabi groaned as he opened his eyes. As he looked up at the ceiling he noticed something was off. In fact, the bed he was in wasn’t his, nor was this room. Ugh, did he have another one of “those” nights? Hmm, he doesn’t remember going to any of the clubs he frequents. His thoughts are suddenly broken from the soft groan made from the sleeping person off to his side.

He glances over and lets out a sigh. Another night with (Y/n) eh? It’s like he can’t stay away from you. No matter how hard he pushes himself to stay away, he keeps getting drawn back to you like a drug. A sweet, innocent, untainted drug.

He sighs again. A gentle smile crosses his features at the sight of your peaceful sleeping form. It takes him back to when he first met you…

Dabi was walking down an alleyway after finishing up a job for the league. Or as he liked to call it “Taking out the trash”. And this trash was biodegradable at least after getting a taste of his flames it was. Suddenly a rather strong gust takes him by surprise and pushes him back a few feet and causes him to grip the wall next to him for support.

“What the hell?” He growls out.

“Stop right there Dabi! Your evil deeds have come to an end! The wind hero Hurricane is here to take you in!” A voice yells out at the end of the alley.

Dabi looks towards the end of the alley towards the person. “Hurricane eh? You seem like a simple breeze to me kitten.”

The hero stutters slightly which makes Dabi smirk in return. “Interesting.” Dabi thinks. “They act tough, but clearly they’re more flustered than they let on. Let’s see how I can use this eh?”

Dabi lets out a chuckle at the memory. That was the first time you two met.You were, and still are one of the heroes in the top ten. The wind hero: Hurricane. He lets out a snicker as he gathers his scattered clothes from around the bedroom. You acted so boisterous and confident in the first couple encounters.

Hell, he could say that you two were like fire and water when you first met. Well, fire and air if he wanted to split hairs. But instead of him getting blown over or your own wind get sucked out, you both began to make each other stronger.

“You know, you’re not as horrible as everyone makes you out to be. You’re just hurting and have no way to let it out. You’re angry at the wrong people.” You say as Dabi finishes tieing you up to the chair he put you in.

Dabi gives a tsk walks to a chair a few feet away and sits backwards on it. “You don’t know anything about me Hurricane. And besides, hostages are supposed to be silent.”

You just give Dabi that same disconcertingly warm smile that always through him off. He could never why someone like you, a hero, would give a such a sweet smile to him of all people. For gods sakes you were on separate sides of this age-old fight. You two were never supposed to get this close, he was never supposed to actually care that the League wanted their hands on you. But…he did.

“You are always so quick to turn away from your feelings Dabi. Or should I say Touya.”

Heh he really was surprised that day. You not only broke past his boundaries and saw what he was at his core. But you really, really saw who he was. Not Dabi, but Touya.

Dabi lets out a sigh and scratches down a note to leave by your bedside. One of these days he’ll be able to stay until you wake up. One day he’ll be able to stay one more night.

Mama I’m In Love With a Fictional Character: Claude x Reader–Don’t Go

“(Y/n)! (Y/n) stay with me! You promised that you would stay here with me. You promised you’d change the world right alongside me. So..don’t…go.”

You let out a weak cough but somehow manage to give the man you’ve come to love one last smile. “It’s going to be alright Claude. I know that I won’t be able to stand by your side in person, but I’ll always be with you.”

Your breathing starts to slow as you look up at the sky. It was a beautiful pink hue. As if the sun has given it a light feathery kiss. Hah, it’s just like the night at the ball back at Gareg Mach…

Letting out a giggle you run up the spiral staircase towards the top of the tower. “Come on Claude! Stop being such a slowpoke!”

You hear a deep chuckle from behind you and then suddenly you’re being lifted up into the air, twirled, and set back down again before you can even blink. “Whose the slowpoke now, eh (Y/n)?” Claude said as he bounded up the stairs in front of you.

Grinning you chase after him up to the top. “Claude! You schemer!”

He laughs as you come up to a stop next to him and look up out at the beautiful sunset. “That’s what they call me.”

You let out a small scoff. “You’re a real piece of work.” Sighing you look back out at the starts then up at Claude. You two have only known each other for a short time here in Gareg Mach, but your time in the Golden Deer hasn’t been anything short of amazing. At first, the schemer got on your nerves, but as you grew closer to him and spent more time, the more you started to like Claude. And before you knew it, you started to have feelings for him.

The problem was, you didn’t know how to confess. And if you didn’t do it soon, Hilda said she was going to do it for you. And that…would not be good. So thus, here you were…at the top of the tower…with Claude…like Hilda suggested.

“Hey Claude,” You started.

“Wanna know something (Y/n)?” Claude cut in. “One of these days we’ll graduate and go back to our perspective kingdoms. But you know, I want to change this country. There are too many barriers between us and the other kingdoms. For example us and Almyra. Why do we think we’re so much better than them? We’d be so much stronger together, united. And you know what? I’m going to be the one who does it.”

Letting out a chuckle a smile spreads across your face. “I don’t doubt that for a moment, Claude. Anything you want you’re definitely going to get it.”

Claude lets out a small Hn and turns to you with that sweet yet mischievous smile on his face. “You’re positivity never fails does it (Y/n)? That’s something I’ve always admired you for. It’s also something that made me fall for you too.”

You started at this. “Claude…did you just?”

“Confess? Yea, guess I did. Sorry I beat you to the punch. And yes I knew you had feelings for me too. Just wanted to see what you’d do about it before I decided to confess. And it looks like we both had the same idea. Confess on the top of the goddess tower at the ball.”

You felt the heat rise to your cheeks. He actually felt the same way. ‘Hah, I guess Hilda was right after all.’ You thought to yourself. “I don’t know what to say, Claude. I’m really happy right now.”

Claude lets out a chuckle. “Say you’ll be by my side as I change this world for the better. With you with me, I know we can accomplish anything.”

You give him a nod. “Always.”

The sky really does look just as beautiful as that night. It’s a shame that this will be the last time you see it. You look back up at those beautiful green emerald eyes you’ve loved for so long. You studied with him, fought alongside him, and took down Edelgard with him. Well, Teach did most of the work, but with your magic, you feel like you helped out. That is until Hubert pulled a dirty trick and snuck up behind you and struck you with a dagger straight to your back.

You sum up some strength and raise a shaky arm to cup Claude’s face. So warm. He took your hand in his and you felt something wet fall upon them. Claude was crying. “Don’t cry, love. I won’t be able to be with you but I don’t doubt for a second your dreams will come true. You have always gotten anything done when you set your mind to it.” You whisper.

Claude clutches your hand harder. “Don’t say that. I can get Marianne here to heal you. Just wait a moment. Just hold on please!” Claude starts to call out for Marianne.

“I’m so tired, maybe if I rest my eyes for a bit.” You thought.

Claude looks back down at you as Marianne comes running over. “(Y/n)? (Y/n)! Say something please! Say something! Don’t go! Don’t…go…”

Goodbye Claude, I love you…

“Say something, I’m giving up on you

I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you

Anywhere, I would’ve followed you

Say something, I’m giving up on you

And I will swallow my pride
You’re the one that I love
And I’m saying goodbye

Say something, I’m giving up on you”

Mama I’m in Love With a Fictional Character: Ryo Kurokiba x Reader–Heads or Tails

“Heads or Tails?”

“Tails.”

The coin flips. “It’s heads. Guess that means I’m the head chef and you’re my sus chef this time.”

“Dammit woman!”

“Ryo! Be nice to (Y/N)-Chan!”

“Heads or Tails?”

“Heads.”

The coin flips. “Tails. Ha! Looks like you have to face me in a Food War after all! And I’m gonna massacre you!”

“Hmph. Just you wait, you bandana-wearing jerk I’ll kick your butt!”

“I’d like to see you try.”

“Oh, bring it on!”

This is how things usually went between you and Ryo Kurokiba ever since you met the first day of attending Totsuki. You ended up being fierce rivals against each other, always trying to one up the other. At first, the arguing was so bad that you couldn’t decide on a simple task together. Hence the Heads or Tails method Alice came up for you two. It surprisingly worked very well.

“I swear you two. Sometimes you both act like an old married couple.” Alice said, amusement clear in her voice as she watched the two of you cook from her perch on the counter.

You sputtered and you heard Ryo nearly drop his knife as you both looked at Alice with wide eyes. “We are nothing like a married couple!” You yell.

“Yea! I wouldn’t even want to kiss a girl like her!” Ryo spat back.

Your eyes widened and you ball your hands up in anger. Putting down your own cooking utensil you stomped right up to him and crossed your arms. “Excuse me? What could possibly be so wrong with kissing me? You know what? Don’t even answer me, I bet you wouldn’t even be man enough to kiss me!” You growled out, not fully realizing the weight of your words or the smirk on Alice’s face.

Ryo’s mouth curled up into a sneer. “Hah, I am so! I’m not some shy little wimp! And I bet you’d like it! In fact, I bet I could get you to say it was the best kiss you ever had!”

You let out a scoff. “Oh yea?”

“Yea!”

“Then Heads or Tails!”

“Excuse me?” Ryo said, slightly taken aback.

“You heard me. Heads or Tails. Heads, you kiss me, and we see if you even have the chance of sweeping me off of my feet. Tails, I kiss you and I bet I’ll make you eat your words about kissing me would be horrible.”

“You’re on!”

“You know guys, either way, you end up kissing.” Alice points out but neither of you seem to hear her.

“Heads or Tails?”

Ryo smirks. “Heads obviously.”

The coin flips. “It’s heads. Dammit.”

Ryo’s smirk widens. “Hah. Now get to be proved absolutely wrong (Y/N).”

Next thing you know, Ryo lunges forward and captures you in a widely passionate embrace and his lips meet yours. You hated to admit it, but holy crap the guy could kiss. Your lips melded perfectly together, moving in what you could only describe as perfect harmony. You let out a small moan and Ryo smirks against your lips. He squeezes your hips ever so slightly making you let out a small gasp. He takes that advantage to slip his tongue in dominating every part of your mouth. So typical of him, always have to have the upper hand.

And then the need for air arises causing the two of you to part. “Told you so.” Ryo boasts. He then moves back to his station and starts cooking again as if nothing happened.

You on the other hand, still stand in the place you two were fighting just minutes before, completely dumbstruck. How did he? Why do I? You couldn’t even form a coherent thought! Finally, you regain your composure and turn back to your station as well trying to process all the feelings that just came to the surface.

Before you pick up your utensils though, you hear Ryo speak up. “By the way (Y/N), I’m taking you out on a date this Friday. No Heads or Tails. We’re going.” He said with a tone that had absolutely no room for argument.

You couldn’t help the small smile that appeared on your lips and the chuckle that escaped as well. “Alright. I look forward to it.”

‘Mama I’m in Love With a Fictional Character’ Shikamaru x Reader – If It’s Meant to Be

“So how exactly have you two stayed together for so long? Which one of you asked the other out?” Sakura asked as your two teams sat together at Ichiraku.

“I bet (Y/N) asked Shikamaru first,” Naruto said with a mouthful of ramen.

Choji and Ino just chuckled knowing the story behind the two of you.

“It’s their business you two. Stop being so nosy.” Sasuke grumbled.

You just let out a chuckle and looked to Shikamaru. “Do you want to tell it or shall I?”

He let out a soft chuckle and rested his chin on his hand. “You can tell it. It’s too troublesome to tell these guys when they just might forget.”

“Hey!” All three of them shouted.

You just laugh and shake your head. “Alright, so it all started right after we both got out of the academy and became Genin.

“So, uh, do you want to go out with me?” Shikamaru asked with a slight blush on his cheeks.

You smiled and let out a small giggle. Who would have thought that your childhood best friend and now teammate would have a crush on you, let alone actually return your feelings! “Of course, Shika!”

Shikamaru grumbled out something about not calling him Shika, but you knew he was both happy about your response and the nickname—he would never admit it, but it made him feel special. Like it was something only you were allowed to call him.

As time went on, you two fell more and more in sync. At first, you were a bit insecure about the relationship working between the two of you because you were so high-strung and well, Shikamaru, wasn’t. But, when you told him your fears, what he said not only was the essence of his personality, but it calmed you a lot. “If it’s meant to be, it’ll be.”

That single sentence practically became the mantra for your entire relationship. It was how you made things work through the toughest of times. It especially came through when the Chuunin exam hit. Shikamaru rose to the rank of Chuunin while you stayed at Genin. Shikamaru didn’t feel like it was a big deal—he even said it didn’t change the fact that he loved you. But you couldn’t help but feel like it was a big hit to your ego and made you feel insecure.

Shikamaru noticed the immediate change in your happy-go-lucky nature. You continue to curse how observant he is. But he didn’t let up until you told him what was wrong. You two sat down in the nearby park and you spilled your guts so to speak.

“I feel like I’m not good enough, you were able to ascend to Chuunin and I’m so proud of you. But with me as a Genin, I don’t feel like I deserve you. I’m not good enough. It’s just like a few people of the past have told me.”

“Oh, you troublesome woman. Don’t ever think that. It doesn’t change how I feel about you, you dork. And you are a beautiful and amazing ninja. It’s worked out for us for so long and I believe we will continue to make it work. Besides remember our mantra?”

“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be.”

He smiled and kissed you on the forehead. “That’s right. So, chin up love.”

As soon as you finished your story there was a resounding “aww” from the entire group. Even Choji and Ino even though they heard it many times before.

“That is such a sweet story! So that’s basically the secret to your relationship? All of these years? Cause it’s been such a long time since we were kids. From the war to Naruto becoming Hokage—”

“Yea, who knew that would happen,” Sasuke said.

“Hey!” Naruto snapped back.

Your team just snickers. “Yep, it’s that simple phrase that keeps us together. Doesn’t it Shika?” You say with a smirk.

He shakes his head but chuckles none the less. “It certainly does. Because if it’s meant to be—”

“It’ll be.” You finish for him.

“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be

Baby, if it’s meant to be”

‘Mama I’m in Love With a Fictional Character’ Kiba x Reader- According to You

You let out a sigh and bite back the tears of frustration that were welling up in your eyes. “Neji! I said I was sorry! Isn’t that enough? It was just a simple mistake.” You said as you continue to chase after your boyfriend through the streets of Konoha.

Why exactly were you trying so hard to keep up with the stubborn Hyuuga boy? Simple. It was all because of a simple event that happened just mere minutes ago at the Hyuuga household ironically enough.

“Where is that girl?” Neji said with a frustrated sigh. He looked up at the clock in the middle of the hall right off the Hyuuga training room. His girlfriend (Y/N) was supposed to meet him to spar in front of his uncle and cousin. It was important to him so he could show that he could be one of the best especially against the type fighting style (Y/N) had—even if it wasn’t as powerful as the Beyakugan, it still had merit.

“I’m sure she’ll be here Neji,” Hinata said softly.

Neji just let out a tch in response. “How can I count on her for anything. She’s always late, she can never follow through with simple menial tasks. Heck, I’d be surprised if she actually showed up in proper training attire!”

Hinata frowned. “Isn’t that a bit harsh Neji? (Y/N) tries her best. I even see her training by herself sometimes in the woods to get stronger when she’s not with Kiba, Shino, and I.”

Neji shook his head. “It matters not.” What a bothersome girl. Neji thought to himself. Why did I choose her as my significant other again?

Suddenly a slam of a door can be heard nearby accompanied by a rush of footsteps. “I’m here! Neji! I’m here! Sorry, I’m so late! You wouldn’t believe the wait at Ichiraku. But I got us some amazing ramen for lunch!” You say as you make your way to the training room, two orders of ramen in hand.

“Oh, hey Hinata. I didn’t know you’d be joining us for lunch! Else I would have gotten you some too!”

Hinata looks between you and Neji and cringes internally knowing that you’re in for it. For the sweet mistake, you just made. “N-no worries (Y/n). It’s alright.”

“Alright? No! It is not alright! (Y/n), do you even think sometimes? I did not tell you to meet up with me for a simple lunch! It was for an important match to show my uncle, the Hyuuga’s clan leader, how much I have grown! What is wrong with you woman!” He shouted at you; anger written all over his face.

You cringe and step back slightly. Neji rarely loses his cool that often. He is often very levelheaded, but when he comes to the end of his rope. It’s never pleasant. “I-I’m sorry Neji. I must have forgotten. But, I brought us some ramen, maybe that will make up for it?”

In reply, Neji just scoffs and storms out of the compound leaving you in the dust.

Which brings us back to our current situation right now. Your running started to slow down until you were at a normal speed. Letting out a sad sigh, you resigned yourself to the fact that you were never going to catch up to him. You walk over to a nearby wall so as to not be in anyone’s way and slumped down, hiding your face in your knees.

Stupid Neji, you thought. Why does he always have t be like this? It’s always one thing or another that I do wrong. You let out a small breath as you feel tears starting to fall down your cheeks. You were content to just keep crying, that is until you started to hear barking in the near distance. Then, it got closer and closer until you found yourself underneath a big, white fluffy Akamaru.

Letting out a sniff, you can’t hold back the giggle that comes out as well as Akamaru continues to shower you with kisses. “Akamaru! Down boy!” Kiba calls as he comes running up to you.

“Hey (Y/N)!” Kiba calls out excitedly, “How’s it—going?” He trails off slightly once he notices your crying. “(Y/N)? What’s wrong? It was Neji again wasn’t it?” You can only nod in response. Kiba clicks his tongue in irritation. “He really needs to learn to treat his girlfriend better. You’re an amazing Ninja, kind, determined, and I know Akamaru loves you.”

He blushes slightly and scratches the back of his head as if he’s contemplating what to say next. What he says though, takes you by surprise. Well, all of what he has been saying surprises you. You never knew Kiba felt this way towards you. It was the first time someone treated you with kindness and looked at you with care and dare you to say it—love.

“Heck, if you were my girlfriend I—” before Kiba can finish his sentence though, a familiar icy tone cuts him off.

“Do tell, Kiba. If (Y/N) was your girlfriend what? You think you’d be better? Please. Besides someone as she needs constant guidance and correction.” Neji says as he comes walking up to the two of you.

Kiba balls his hands into a fist and you stand up from where you were sitting. “Neji—”

“Don’t (Y/N). Let me handle him.” Kiba growls.

“You’ve been with her for only a year now. And this is how she ends up. She is constantly insecure, over judging herself. When she is the most confident, reliable, beautiful, I could go on and on about her. In fact—” he pauses slightly. “In fact, I would even go so far as to say I’m in love with her and would be proud as heck to call her mine!”

“Kiba,” You whisper. You can’t help the smile that graces your features. He’s amazing and every bit the guy you would love to date, but you were with Neji unfortunately. You look to Neji for his response and all he gives is a simple ‘Tch’.

Tch? That’s all he can say is Tch? This infuriated you. After all, you have been through, not even a declaration of love from another can rile him up? But a small mistake from yourself does the job? “Really Neji? Is that how you truly feel? I know I have my shortcomings. I may be a Space case. I know I can forget things and mess up. And by god, I know I’m stubborn and clumsy. But I deserve to be treated like a human! Like your girlfriend! And if you can’t realize that, then we’re over! Kiba is my teammate, my friend, he treats me like I’m special and like I’m someone. I’d rather be with him than you! I have had feelings for him from the start anyway.”

“(Y/N),” Kiba whispers almost as if he can’t believe that you’re returning his feelings.

Neji merely glances at you and lets out a sigh. “If that’s how you truly feel then. Fine. I hope you and Kiba are happy together.” Then, without so much of a backward glance, he leaves the two of you behind.

Kiba turns to you with a grin and next thing you knew you’re in his arms in a loving and comforting embrace. “(Y/N), I—”

You silence him with a quick but sweet peck on the lips to which he pulls you back for another. After you two part, you nuzzle into his chest and hear Akamaru give a happy bark. “Thank you, Kiba. Thank you.”

Mama I’m in Love With a Fictional Character Greed x Reader

You let out a tired sigh as you finish wiping down the old, bar counter. Even after years of use, you could make the old thing shine like new with a little bit of elbow grease. You smile at your handy work, only to flinch in pain at the twinge in your lower backside. And as if on cue you felt a presence behind you followed by a pair of hands massaging away the all of the kinks.

A relived sigh passes your lips followed by a bemused chuckle. “You know, you don’t have to do this every time you see that me or the others are in pain you know. Me especially.”

A snicker came from the person behind you and those hands that were at work on your back, were now pulling you back into a pair of strong arms and a wall of muscle. “That’s nonsense Kitten, I have to make sure all of my possessions are in top shape. Not bending over in pain.”

You shake your head and turn your body around to face the speaker. Your eyes trail up and down his figure, taking in the egotistical, arrogant, but devilishly handsome man that you’ve come to known as your boss. “What have I said Greed, I may be an employee, but I’m not an object,” you smirk as your eyes look into his purple ones.

He merely chuckles as he releases you from his hold, ruffling your hair as he passes. “And what have I said Kitten?” he repeats back mockingly, as he leans back on the bar, his back facing you.

Rolling your eyes, you take a clean shot glass from the cupboard, fill it, and walk around the bar to put it into Greed’s awaiting hands. “Do tell, boss. What are the wise words that you wish to thrust upon me?” you say with a smirk that nearly matches his own.

He lets out a bark of laughter and places the now empty shot glass on the bar behind him. He then fixes you a look that tells you that one of two things will most likely happen. Someone is going to get their ass handed to them—possibly you, or he’s going to say something that will mostly likely get him punched—also, usually by you.

“Tell me, Kitten. Who do you work for?”

You let out an exasperated breath, but the grin that plays at your lips betrays your amusement. This again? Really? “You,” you say after a moment.

Greed raises an eyebrow. “You? Not sure who your referring to Kitten.”

He’s really something isn’t he? You put your hands on your hips and shook your head. “You, Greed. I work for you.”

He grins showing those shark like grin of his. “Yep, that’s right. You work for me,” he says as starts to take slow measured steps toward you, in turn making you take several steps backwards until you bump up against a nearby table. “And you know what that means?” he presses, caging you between him and the table much to your chagrin and slight pleasure—not that you’d ever admit it. You wouldn’t hear the end of it for days.

“What Greed? What does being an employee of yours mean?” you challenge. You saw the way his eyes flashed at what you said. You were pushing it, but it was just too tempting to not push his buttons every now and then.

He leans down and just to make his point he spoke directly into your ear, as if the close proximity wasn’t enough. “It means you’re mine Kitten. All of you are. So that means if I see one of ya in pain, you should be sure as hell, whether its caused by some idiot or somethin’ superficial, I’m going to put a stop to it. No one messes with what’s mine.”

He then pulls away as if nothing ever happened, leaving you ever-so-slightly red-faced. “Well, I’ve got some business that needs to be attended to, look after the bar while I’m gone, if someone messes with ya, give ‘em hell but make sure to save some ass kicking for me,” he says with a wink as he heads down to the lower levels of the Devils Nest.

You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding as you watch his retreating form. Pulling yourself upright once more you shake your head. “He’s such a tease,” you mutter. Turning back towards the bar, you see Dolcetto and Martel smirking at you.

“What?” you question.

Dolcetto shakes his head. “It’s nothing, it’s just—”

“It’s you, (y/n). It’s amazing how you can be so obvious, yet so oblivious at the same time,” Martel finishes for him.

Oblivious? Obvious? There is no way! “And how do you suppose that guys?” you balk.

Dolcetto props himself up onto the bar and swings his feet back and forth as he smirks down at you.  “Well let’s see,” he starts. “Who does Greed tease mercilessly?”

You raised an eyebrow and cross your arms over your chest. “Uh, that would be me.”

He nods. “Yep, and who is fiercely protective of him?”

“Me again, but you guys are too!”

Shaking her head, Martel puts a hand on your shoulder. “Not as much as us though, (y/n). We’ll beat ‘em up good, but you, you tear ‘em to shreds.”

“I owe him a debt for saving my sorry arse outta the hell hole I came from, of course I’m protective,” you defend.

“We all have our demons that the boss helped chase away (y/n). But out of all of us, you’re the one who’s in love with him,” a deep voice said behind you.

You sigh and look over your shoulder. “Not you too Roa! And I’m not in love with him.”

Hearing your three friends chuckle in response to your indignation just frustrates you more. “I’m not! I just admire him! That’s all.”

“Sure (y/n).”

“We’ve known ya since you came here after the war, I think we can tell when you’re in love. Especially when it’s with the boss.”

“Yup.”

Letting out a huff, your boots scuff against the floor as you march over to the bar to grab your forgotten cleaning cloth that now laid haphazardly in Dolcetto’s lap. “Gimme that,” you growl.

Dolcetto gives you a sympathetic smile as you snatch the cloth away and march over to a recently abandoned table. “Look, (y/n), we’re not trying to tease you—”

“Could’ve fooled me,” you grumble as you scrub at the table.

“We’re not,” Martel pipes in. “We’re just sick of you pinning after the boss and not doing a damn thing about it. You don’t even realize that he feels the same.”

Pausing in your work, you look over at the trio. “Look. Guys. I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but no. I’m not in love with him, and there’s no way in hell that Greed would be in love with me.” You put down the rag and turn to them.

“After the war, I put up a lot of walls—hell, we all have. And I highly doubt Greed will be the guy to finally bring them down.”

“Wouldn’t you want to give it a chance though?” Martel asks.

You shake your head. “Not really, no guy is worth that type of aggravation.” A yawn escapes your lips as you stretch your hands above your head. “Now if you guys excuse me, I’m going to take a nap.” You brush past them and head upstairs but not before throwing a look back at where Greed disappeared to. “Me in love? Hah, yea sure, like I’d admit something like that.”

Smoke and the scent of blood filled the air, all around laid piles of the dead. Or what was left of them. You heaved a sigh and looked up at the sky. “That should do it for this sector. Man, they really blew this place up, didn’t they? Tch. Figures. I knew that Kimbley was trigger happy.”

Letting out another sigh you continued on forward, your silver compass—the ball and chain as you liked to call it—clinked against your hip with each step. You were about to continue on to the next district, until you hear a moan and scuffle from the alley nearby. Curiosity peaked, you find yourself walking towards the noise only to be stopped dead in your tracks by what you saw.

There in the alley, lied a figure huddled into a fetal position, rocking back and forth, beaten and bloody. But that wasn’t the most disturbing thing here, it was when the figure turned to you, caked in blood was an exact copy of you.

Stepping back with a gasp, you cover your mouth in surprise. “What the hell?”

“This is all your fault,” it croaked.

Your eyes widened. “What? No! I didn’t ask for this!”

The form crawled towards you and lifted its head slightly. “You caused this! Their blood is on your hands!”

Instinctively, you raise your hands to up to examine them, and to your horror blood was indeed on your hands. It was wet and slick as it ran all the way down to your fore arms. “No,” you mutter.

“NO!”

You bolt upright in your bed, panting and in a cold sweat. Just a dream, you think. It was only a dream. You take a couple deep breaths as you try to calm your erratic heartbeat. Looking down at your hands, you find that your hands are perfectly clean—not a spot of blood on them. You let out a relived sigh. “Thank god, only a dream.”

A couple quick raps at your door make you jump slightly, but catch your attention. You turn your head towards door and your lips curl into a small smile. “Hey Greed.”

He smiles back, but then a look of concern flits across his face. “Hey Kitten, I heard your screams. Another nightmare?”

You look down at your hands and nod. “Sadly, yes.”

He gives a “Hmm.” In reply and then, without any warning, walks over to your bed and lays down next to you pulling you into him.

“Hey! What gives? What in the world are you doing boss?” you question, squirming slightly in his hold.

He wraps an arm around you bring you closer which effectively stops your squirming. “Go back to sleep (y/n).”

“But—”

“Not buts Kitten. I told ya, whether it’s someone beating on ya, or even a nightmare I’ll always be here to protect what’s mine. Now go to sleep.”

You let out a sigh, but listen to what Greed said and close your eyes. “Fine,” you say.

You hear Greed chuckle above you and you swear you could have felt the faintest of kisses on your neck before drifting off to sleep. “Good girl.”

Smiling softly as sleep over comes you, your left with one single thought.

At least out loud I won’t say it but, I love you Greed.

Mama I’m in Love With a Fictional Character: Shinsou x Reader–Cat Burgler

The gentle breeze, the light chirping of the birds, everything was just completely serine. That’s why you loved coming to the park on the weekends. It helped ease the tension of the studies at UA. But, you wouldn’t trade being in the hero course for the world.

You let out a blissful sigh as you leaned back against the park bench. Nothing could ruin this moment. Or at least that’s what you thought until your vison was overtaken by blackness and you felt something soft and furry land on your head. Next thing you know your favorite hat was swiped off your head. “What the?” You turn your head to the right and see the little perpetrator making a bee line to the other side of the park. A black cat with a purple collar around its neck and your favorite hat dangling out of its mouth.

You bolt up from your seat and start the chase after the fur ball. “Get back here you devious little ball of fluff!” You yell as you run through the park, moving past people and through the various contraptions in the park.

Before you can catch the cat though, the cat comes to a stop and leaps up into a boy’s arms. One with wild purple hair and a look of someone who hasn’t gotten sleep in days. “Sh-shinsou?” You huff. “That little mischievous ball of fluff is yours?”

Shinsou pets his cat and removes the hat from his mouth. Chuckling slightly, he looks up at you with a small smirk. “Yea, he’s mine. And I take it this belongs to you?” He asks handing the hat back to you.

You put your hat back on and smile at Shinsou. “Yea, it is. What’cha doing out here? I didn’t know that you come here? Or that you had a cat. Well, the fact that you have a cat isn’t all that surprising.”

Shinsou scratches his neck slightly and his cat jumps down to curl up against his legs. You don’t think you could ever tell him this but, you always thought Shinsou was completely adorable. From the way he carried himself with pride regardless of the trials he faced with his quirk, to his sweet personality underneath those walls of his.

“I like to come out here to think and walk my cat. All though, I’m sorry that he stole your hat he’s a bit mischievous like that. Though, I’m surprised someone in the Hero course is giving me the time of day.”

You just shake your head. “We’re not all like Bakugo you know. Besides you interest me—maybe we could get a coffee sometime after class? Or even walk the park sometime together.”

Your response clearly catches him off guard judging by his slightly widen eyes, and well I’ll be, you get a chance to be graced with the rare sight of Shinsou blushing. “Uh, you sure you want to be around someone like me?”

Giggling slightly, you nod. “Yea, the quirk doesn’t make the person. The personality and how they carry themselves do. That’s why I admire you.”

“Admire me huh? That’s a new one. But ok you uh, intrigued me too if I have to be honest. You don’t act like your classmates.”

His words make your small smirk grow into a huge smile. “Then it’s a date!”
