Rebellious Reviews: Re-Watch of Fairy Tail!

Hello my little Rebels, and welcome to yet another rebellious review! This time I’ll be talking about the classic anime–Fairy Tail. Now, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this anime, nope. I’ve watched it almost all the way through–aside from the very final season. I’ve read the whole manga through too! So why a review? Simple! I decided to binge watch it all the way through again and I find my opinion on a lot of the characters and story arcs change drastically. So thus, this review was born! So let’s get to it shall we?

Characters

Of course we have Team Natsu. My opinion hasn’t changed one bit when it comes to this amazing team. If anything, I’ve grown to love them even more. All of them are still completely awesome to me. From their teamwork, to their personalities in general! The villains in the anime have garnered a better opinion as well. Seeing each group a second time makes me actually take a liking to them. And that’s saying something considering their villains and they have a tendency to drive me up a wall. But they were pretty interesting this time around. The only one who still didn’t garner my good opinion is Juvia. I don’t know why, but I just can’t seem to get myself to like the girl. I don’t know whether it’s her clingy personality or how she treats Lucy. She just drives me nuts.

Score:

10/10

Storyline

I used to be bugged by some of the story arcs in this anime. For example Endolas and the arc with Michelle, but watching it a second time through actually made me really like both of those arcs and not be so annoyed by it. I even took a liking to the part in the Endolas arc where Happy and Carla were in Extalia. Well of course, we got to meet Happy’s parents even if he had no clue who they were. It was still cute.

Score:

10/10

Opening and closing themes

Watching the anime through again made me realize how much I really like the opening and closing music. It really does a great job at showing you hints of what to expect in each arc. Not to mention the music is really catchy too.

Score:

10/10

Perception second time through

I really liked Fairy Tail the first time through but going through it a second time really cemented the fact that this one of my all time favorite animes. It is the anime that got me into anime after all!

Score:

10/10

Over all, this anime was awesome and won’t ever not be my favorite. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to check it out!

Score:

40/40
