Rebel Fae’s Top Ten ~ Fae’s Top Ten Favorite Twisted Wonderland Characters!

Hey, my little Rebels! It’s time for Rebel Fae’s Top Ten! Haven’t done one of those in a while eh? Well, this one is from a certain game I’ve been addicted to, Twisted Wonderland. This top ten list will be about my top ten favorite characters in Twisted Wonderland. Now, this was a hard list to come up with seeing that there are so many amazing characters in this game. But After a lot of thinking I managed to decide who, in the end, gets each spot. So let’s get this started shall we?

10. Ace Trappola/Deuce Spade

9. Ruggie Bucci

8. Jack Howl

7. Floyd Leech

6. Epel Felmier

5. Riddle Rosenhearts

4. Rook Hunt

3. Idia Shroud

2. Chenya

1. Leona Kingscholar

Welp, that’s the list, you guys! And man was this a hard list to come up with! There are so many different characters in this game that I just completely adore so it was really hard to pick who gets what spot. Well, aside from the number one spot eheh. That will more than likely never change.

What do you guys think about the list? Are any of your favorite characters on here? I’d love to chat about it and hear what you guys think!

Well, that’s all for now…

Rebellious Reviews: Spy x Family ~ Thoughts So Far

Hello, my little Rebels! It’s been forever since I’ve done with one of these eh? Well, I’m back with my Rebellious Reviews once again! This time I’m doing it on Spy x Family. Well, to be more specific I’m doing a Thoughts So Far seeing that I haven’t seen the whole thing just yet. I’ve seen up to about episode five. And already, I’m going to put my spoiler warning for the couple of episodes I’m using to review. So anything I talk about, just prepare beforehand my friends for spoilers.

Alrighty! Let’s get this thing started eh?

Plot:

So, first off we get our super-spy Twilight beating up bad guys. As we get with almost every shonen anime. We are immediately shown his capabilities and it is cemented that he is one of–if not the best spy in the world. Then we are shown that for his next mission, he has to pull off something that he has never done and never thought of the possibility of doing–he has to take on the role of a family man.

When I found out that was how this was gonna start the family in Spy X Family, I genuinely burst out laughing. It’s genius actually for a super spy that only knows how to kill and work by himself to take on the role of husband and father to get some information out of a high-ranking individual on the enemy side of the current war.

See, the fact that he has to procure a family was entertaining in itself primarily because he has no idea how to act like a family man so every action whether it is talking to Anya his adopted daughter, or talking with his wife, is so awkward yet so precious. Couple that with how he always says he’s going to send Anya back to the adoption center, but after seeing a few episodes of him interacting with her, you totally know that there’s no way he’ll be to send her back. Plus, with Anya’s telepathy, she won’t let him.

How he gets his “wife” is pretty ironic in the sense that the woman that he picks, is a world-renown assassin. Let’s see how that plays out when her secret is inevitably divulged eh? Someone bring the popcorn cause that will be a helluva episode.

I have yet to see how they do with the school interview, so I can’t say much on that, but so far all of the interactions we’ve had with our unlikely trio are undeniably adorable and hilarious. I was taken by surprise by how much I actually like the plot so far.

Score 10/10

Graphics:

The basic design of the characters makes the anime endearing in a way. Plus how they use colors and shadowing to show a character’s change in personality and emotions is quite creative in my opinion. Plus I just love Anya’s design she looks really adorable. If I had to change one thing though is add a little more detail. Not too much that it loses the endearing cuteness that I first talked about, but it just gives it a little more oomph so to speak.

Score: 9/10

Characters:

I think this category is going to get a natural ten out of ten even after I come back and review it after I watch the whole series. Each character is just brimming with their own unique personality. Even the side characters have their own spark to them.

Twilight, or Loyd Forger as he is called, already has a pretty good character base. We get to know he is a determined man who always gets the job done and is a master of disguise. Then as we go into the second chapter we already have some good character development thanks to little Anya our cute little six-year-old telepath. She definitely keeps him on his toes, because what six-year-old wouldn’t? But seeing how he interacts with her is so precious. He keeps saying that he’ll take her back to the orphanage once he’s done with this mission…haha yea, no way is that happening. With each episode, you can see how attached he is getting.

As for the woman who he convinces to be his wife–Yor also known as the well-known assassin Thron Princess. But, of course, Loyd has no clue. Anya of course does but I highly doubt she’ll let that slip anytime soon. I really like her character. At first, she seems not too much of an interesting character, but as we get to know her–from what I have seen in about two episodes, she’s starting to become an interesting character. I am quite curious to see how her character will develop as the story proceeds.

Score: 10/10

Music:

I absolutely love the opening and the closing song of this anime. It’s adorable and plus just the way it is, it tells a really cute story. That’s another reason why there’s absolutely no way Loid will be able to give up Anya or his wife.

Score; 10/10

All in all, this has been a joy to watch so far, I’m really looking forward to how the story progresses and how exactly are they going to pull this whole “Family” thing off. I’ll definitely be making a second review for the entire anime so keep your eyes open!

Total Score: 39/40

That’s all for now…

Motivation Monday: 10,000 Ways How Not To Create The Lightbulb

We all know the age-old saying from Edison: I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work. And with crafting and creating, it’s the same thing. You create your big or small projects and hope that they will work perfectly and look like how you imagined. The thing is, things don’t always turn out how you want to. But don’t look at them as if they were failures, thnk the same way as Edison did. You didn’t fail, you just found one of many ways you don’t complete your project.

With this, you grow and learn. Because it’s true what they say, you learn from your mistakes! And who knows, maybe the mistakes you make could turn into something spectacular! You never know…unless you try.

The Bell And Why It Goes Through Hell

It has a sleek shape and a beautiful color palette and to top it off it has a clock face on it! In my opinion, that makes this (The Bell) a really cool-looking claymore. But, the sad thing is that when many Genshin players think of The Bell, they immediately diss it. For this, I don’t understand why. So, even though many may disagree with this article today, I am going to offer up some of my own opinions as to why I think using The Bell can have its advantages. Especially if used properly. So let’s get started, shall we?

First off, let’s talk about that shield it gives us eh?

It triggers about every 45 seconds and acts as a great shield to block damage. Plus, every time this shield is activated, the character that has this claymore equipped gets an increase in damage. The amount increased varies on how many times you have ascended it. But, even at a Rank 2 ascension, it packs a decent punch at 15 percent. And the amount of damage it can take (the shield) is dependent on the max HP stat. This percentage increase with each ascension as well. So, therefore the Bell makes a pretty good claymore for support characters and healing ones.

Sayu, for example, I find utilizes The Bell quite well, to be honest. With her already good defense and healing stats (as long as you have a good artifact set), The Bell increases her capabilities and helpfulness so-to-speak for your team.

Now, I currently have Diluc using The Bell. It may not be the most efficient weapon for him at the moment, but I’ve used it since I first got it when I pulled Diluc at the same time. So for the longest time, it has served me well. Especially since–at least in my case, I can’t seem to get ahold of any claymores. It’s actually once in a blue moon occurrence, even with the Debate Club.

So all in all, I think people highly underestimate The Bell. Or at the very least, don’t know how to utilize it properly. Most probably think that since it’s a high-ranking weapon and a claymore, it is naturally supposed to be for tank characters or characters with a very high DPS. As I’ve explained, it’s not the case. It can be a wonderful weapon for healers and support characters. Even with Noelle, it works quite efficiently. So I highly suggest not overlooking this weapon and enhancing it at least a rank or two. It could come in handy if you pull a healer or support.

Well, that’s all this Fae has to say,

Powerful Women in Anime: Yona of the Dawn

*Warning: Slight spoilers for Yona of the Dawn ahead

Strength derived from strife. Power derived from loss. Love derived from betrayal. Friendship derived from exile. Yona had to deal with all of this and lost so much but gained that much more in return. Forced to grow up from just a carefree sixteen-year-old girl without a care in the world and only worried about how unruly her beautiful red hair was, to a fierce warrior with a group of powerful friends who will follow her to the ends of the earth and help her obtain her one goal: take back her beloved country from the man who murdered her father, the king. And was once the one she called the love of her life.

Yona in Yona of the Dawn is such an underrated character in an underrated anime. She’s powerful because of all of the things she had to face and go through. At the age of only sixteen, she had to witness her childhood crush and cousin kill her father and then flee from the only place she knew, the only place she had ever called home just so she could stay alive. Sure she had Hak with her, but even though she had him by her side and then one by one, the dragon warriors to help her on her quest of taking back her kingdom, the emotional healing, and growth that she had to go through was purely on her own. No one could help her with that.

I chose to write about Yona because seeing that it’s International Women’s Month, I thought what better way to celebrate it than showing off one of the many strong ladies in anime. Yea, I could have chosen to write about Erza Scarlet, Ochaco Uraraka and the other ladies of MHA, Celty Sturluson, or even Nobara Kugisaki, and maybe I will in the coming days–International Women’s Month does go on for a month after all and even then why can’t we celebrate them all the time? But I digress. The fact is, I could have chosen to write about any one of those amazing women in anime first, but I chose to write about Yona because of all of the things she had to go through in such a short time, her personality, and the fact that this amazing girl doesn’t get enough credit in general. She and her anime are highly underrated. I can even bet good money on the fact that some of you who are reading this, probably didn’t know of Yona of the Dawn or at the very least never seen it. That’s why the spotlight is on her today.

What could I possibly say from what I have already said? I don’t want to give away the whole anime, but I do want to point out some of the trials that she has faced that make her the strong young woman that I am proud to write about; probably the biggest thing is that she kept going. No matter what she was feeling, how hard the task was to find the Dragon Warriors that she was prophesied to be with. Or how long her journey was. Or even the fact that she felt inadequate, so she would train long into the night, firing arrow after arrow so she could protect the ones she loved. Not a single care for herself, but for her friends, the ones she came to know as her family. She. Kept. Going. Yes, she had Hak by her and one by one each member of her little ragtag crew, but the thing is, even though each one gave her strength in their own unique ways, it was purely up to her to accept it and run with it so-to-speak. Yona could have just run back to the castle and accepted her fate or even just given up and refused to take another step. But she didn’t.

That’s why I admire Yona and the anime itself. She and the storyline are incredibly powerful. Showing that no matter what happens in life, if you keep going no matter how painful life’s circumstances may be, you will come out on the other side stronger. I highly recommend this anime. Plus the chemistry that is between the whole group–Hak and Yona especially, is just too damn cute.

Well, that’s all this Fae has to say. Be sure to be on the lookout for more powerful women in anime articles…

Mama, I’m In Love With A Fictional Character ~ Bring It On! Pt. 2 ~ Childe x Fem! Reader

You light your daggers up with Electro energy and you give them an experimental flip in your hands. The boy in front of you was your soulmate and a Fatui no less. Boy did the universe know how to pick ‘em.

Childe saw you lighting your daggers and in turn, he pulled his sword out. How many weapons does this guy have? You chuckle to yourself. That’s a stupid question. He’s Childe the eleventh harbinger. He’s known to be one of the most bloodthirsty of them all. And that’s saying something seeing that you’ve had your fair share of run-ins with both Signora and Scaramouche.

“So how do you wanna play this Childe–”

“Ajax.”

You tilt your head in momentary confusion. “Huh?” is all you can manage.

He gives a chuckle. “My name is Ajax, darling. My real name that is.”

“Shouldn’t that be something that is disclosed in secret and not in the open since your in, gee I dunno, the Fatui?”

He just smirks. “If anyone here tried to use it against me, they wouldn’t live to see another day. But I want you, my soulmate, to know my actual name.

You let out a snort. “You’ve got a point, but it’s still pretty stupid on your part. You could get hurt by someone knowing.” Wait. why do you care? Tch. Who are you kidding, of course, you care he’s your soulmate. Those feelings will naturally cement.

Ajax smiles. For the love of the Archons please don’t tell me he can hear my thoughts. Last time you checked that’s not part of the bond.

“It’s written all over your face Girlie. I don’t need to read thoughts. You’re practically an open book. You might want to fix that if you want to be a decent fighter.”

Oh, he did not just say that. The Electro energy on your daggers flare with the spike in your emotions. Particularly your irritation. He’s underestimating me that little twerp. You thought.

“Excuse you, but I’m a Captain in the Knights of Favonious thank you very much. Which actually is why I’m here. Soulmate or not Ajax, either step away from that vendor and leave him be, or I will take you down.”

The way his cerulean eyes flash with excitement and lust and how his grin takes on a predatory look, sends shivers down your spine. You just can’t pinpoint whether it’s good shivers or bad shivers.

“I think we both know what choice I’m going to make girlie,” Ajax says as he takes up a fighting stance.

You crack your neck and let out a sigh. I’ll give him this, he’s definitely a match for my stubbornness. Kaeya and Ningguang would get a kick out of this. Well, it’ll be a good story to tell at the restaurant and when you get back to headquarters.

Well, without further ado then.

You charge forward with your daggers, one raised by your chin and the other resting by your waist. Both pulsate with Electro energy. Swinging both daggers forward you half expect to slice through the air and see him dodge expertly out of the way, but instead, you’re met with the clang of the metal of his sword.

“You didn’t think I’d dodge did you girlie?” Ajax says as he maneuvers his sword out from under your daggers and swings at you to which you dodge expertly and slip behind him.

“Maybe a little, but I highly doubt you were expecting this!” You then use your momentum from the dodge to push him face down on the ground but said momentum took you with him. You let out a grunt as your face met solid muscle. Then the next thing you knew you were the one who was on the ground with Ajax caging you in.

“Looks like your falling for me already.”

You let out a snort. “That line is so old. But you wouldn’t be my soulmate if you weren’t corny as hell,”

“I prefer charming.” Ajax interrupted. He then rolled off of you and pulled you up with him causing you to fall back into him. So close that if you moved just ever so slightly you’d end up kissing. This thought made you burn bright red and you made an attempt to pull away, but Ajax just held you tighter.

“So girlie, I’ve told you my name and we got a nice little look at each other fighting prowess, I think I should know the name of my one and only love who I’d give my life for in an instant.”

“Well, aren’t you romantic?” You say with a chuckle.

He just shrugs. “In my line of work darling, people close to you are far and few in between. Especially soulmates.”

Your lips pull up into a small smile. “You’re not wrong on that one. It’s (Y/n). My name that is.”

“(Y/n). I like it. So, I guess seeing that that fight was a draw, but I ended up winning something a lot better, I’ll let the vendors here be.”

“Oh, how gracious of you–”

He cuts you off. “In return for a date and a kiss.”

You grin. “Oh, is that all?”

“Uh-huh.”

Without saying another word you lean forward and your lips meet his. You half expect them to be chapped, but they were soft as they moved in tandem with your own. But it was over before it began when he stepped back. No doubt enjoying the flushed look on your face.

“Now about that date?”

You let out a bashful chuckle. “Follow me. I know a place.” You then turn and before you take a single step you find your hand linked with Ajax’s. “Nice to finally meet you Ajax.”

Ajax pulls you into a side hug and squeezes like he fears he’ll lose you if he lets go. “Nice to finally meet you too (Y/n).”

You Can Be A Hero! It All Comes Back Around.

Before we get started, I just want to provide a quick warning…If you have not read the most recent chapter of the My Hero Academia manga and do not want spoilers, DON’T READ THIS ARTICLE JUST YET! Elsewise, go right ahead my friends!

Well, now that we have that out of the way, I have never seen a more beautiful and heart-clenching way to bring a central idea of a manga all the way full circle and present a foil at the same time. What do I mean exactly? Simple. When Deku confronts Aoyama and Aoyama is saying that for what he did, he feels like he is the worst person and he is truly a villain, Deku says these words: You can be a hero! Sound familiar? I sure hope so. Because at the very beginning of My Hero Academia All Might said these exact words to Deku. You can be a hero.

It all comes back full circle with that single utterance. It boy, was it powerful. I’m excitedly awaiting what happens in the next chapter and how Aoyama reacts to Deku’s words. Because clearly based on the reaction of Aoyama, those words had a major effect on him. I’m honestly not surprised though because if you think about it, he’s the perfect foil for Deku.

What I mean by this is if Deku never heard those words from All Might and if he would have never given him One For All, Deku might have just led the exact life that Aoyama had to live. Turning to All For One and doing his bidding. But, as some fanfictions have gone he would have gone down a much more sinister path.

It’s really quite interesting to think about how those two roles could have easily been flipped. That’s how usually a foil works. Bakugou could have gone down that path if he didn’t have Deku by his side in my opinion. I believe he would have had the guilt of telling Deku all of those fowl things back in middle school with having the knowledge that he turned. So really, it’s very good, our cute, little, shy broccoli boy has been the hero of this story.

Well, that ends today’s analysis! I hope y’all enjoyed and I’d love to hear y’all thoughts!
